After helping an older man who had been expelled from a nearby Bank of America, a police officer from California won the hearts of people all around the nation. The bank called Officer Robert Josett to report a 92-year-old man who was allegedly making a scene. After attempting to withdraw money from his account, the elderly guy became angry. He had difficulty doing so because his ID was no longer valid.
A teller at the nearby Bank of America refused to serve a 92-year-old man who wanted to withdraw some money because his ID had expired. When the elderly guy became irate, the bank officials phoned the police and requested that they remove the individual from the area.
Officer Robert Josett was the one who responded to the call on the alleged troublemaker.
The individual attempted to withdraw money from the bank, but the bank was unable to do so because he lacked a valid identity. He couldn’t figure out the teller’s reluctance to assist him. The older man became angry and made a fuss as a result.
Officer Josett made an unusual choice after learning what was happening.
Officer Josett volunteered to drive the old guy to the DMV so that he could get a new ID since he wanted him to leave the site with his money. He then drove the man back to the Bank of America to make the withdrawal.
This deed of generosity wasn’t overlooked. When the Montebello Police Department learned what the officer had done from someone at the bank, they quickly publicized the information on Facebook alongside some images.
On the police department’s Facebook page, one user said, “This Officer is a Saint!” “This Little Grampa just wants to maintain his freedom, that’s all. And the policeman assisted him in a respectable way. “Good Job, Officer!”
