Eric worked tirelessly for a worthwhile cause. He wanted to spread the word about his mother’s illness, which was an uncommon instance. Silvia was identified as having multiple sclerosis, a condition that impairs brain and spinal cord nerve networks and cells, making mobility challenging. They were told this tragic news when Eric was just seven years old. Having realised the seriousness of this illness, he decided to use this marathon to spread awareness.
Together, these factors enhanced Eric’s mental well-being and strengthened their relationship. Silvia felt so liberated as a result. When she sees the surroundings and moves out with regular people, she also develops mental health.
They were aiming for one thing! That is, to become the quickest marathon pusher in a wheelchair and break the Guinness record. They may have eventually reached their objective. It took them much practice, perseverance, and work to achieve the objective. They attempted again in 2021 with several players from all around the world who were, in fact, the quickest after failing in 2020.
The endeavour could have been more straightforward with the epidemic and all the other challenges they faced. Nevertheless, the will, bravery, and dedication were far more powerful than any new unrest.
