In her video, Kate donned a previously worn nautical striped jumper.
According to reports, the princess chose the £650 ($821) sweater to evoke memories of happier times and remind the people that Kate was royalty and a “school-run mum, a wife, and a homemaker.”
Kate, dressed in jeans and a cosy jumper, conveyed the devastating news that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
Her tearful declaration came weeks after conspiracy theories and rumours regarding her location spread over the internet.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous,” she said. “The surgery was a success.” However, post-operative examinations revealed the presence of malignancy. As a result, my medical team advised me to begin a course of prophylactic chemotherapy, which I am currently doing.
Kate also stated that she and Prince William “have been doing everything” they can “to process and manage” the news privately.
It has taken some time, as you may imagine. To begin my treatment, I had to take some time to heal from a significant operation. Above all, though, it has taken some time for us to convince George, Charlotte, and Louis that everything would be well and to explain everything to them suitably.
She continued telling the people she was “well” and “getting stronger every day.”
Kate asked for ongoing privacy while she pursued her therapy in the last moments of her depressing video message.
“As a family, we now require some time, space, and privacy while I finish my treatment, and we hope you will understand this.” I’ve always been thrilled at work and look forward to returning when I can, but I have to concentrate on getting well for the time being.
