Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively both adore The Great British Baking Show!
The 46-year-old actor from Deadpool was beaming as he posed for pictures with Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, the hosts of the popular baking show, as he spoke about getting to see the location. Hollywood soon uploaded a picture of the 35-year-old Lively on his Instagram page, implying that she had also attended.
In his Instagram photo, Reynolds appeared content as he flung an arm around Leith and Hollywood while wearing a loose green button-up shirt and trousers.
“A complete and unconditional hug of pure serotonin,” was how he captioned the photo.
Wearing her signature bright pink and orange patterned top and matching brilliant pink spectacles, Leith grinned broadly into the camera. At the same time, Hollywood, dressed in a blue button-down shirt and slacks, excitedly gestured to the actor.
“Excellent catching up…” Hollywood commented, and Gigi Hadid, the couple’s friend, added a pie emoji and an excited “RYAN!”
Hollywood then admitted that Lively had also been there for the production. Reynolds shared his message on social media a few hours later, and shortly after, the balding baker shared a photo of himself on Instagram with the actress, who was laughing and patting his arm. He included a lighthearted note directed at Leith, his co-host.
I apologise to Prue. Blake (@blakelively) has stolen your place. He commented, “Welcome to Cake Corner, Blake 😁#legendinthetent #getbaking @vancityreynolds.”
Lively is no stranger to baking; she posted a picture of her watermelon cake on Instagram in 2021.
“The advantages of being a hoarder #492: If someone asks for a watermelon cake, you have your Betty Crocker Bake & Fill, which you haven’t used since you were 17, ready. Shout out to all of my fellow nuts, as seen on TV. She said in the video’s title, “Pulling out the Euroseal next,” as she cut into the delicious dessert.
Her husband might need help in the interim from the talented bakers in the tent. He hilariously posted on Instagram 2018 about a rumoured baking mishap when he tried to prepare a cake with strawberries on top for his wife, Blake Lively.
He prepared his wife this cake; Reynolds captioned the dish’s image while holding it up, feeling sceptical about the tasty treat himself. He wrote, “Since he is not a scientist, the icing is glue.”
However, it wasn’t the actor’s first culinary mishap; in December of the previous year, he attempted to make some cookies, but they turned out poorly or even resembled cookies.
By sharing photos of the cookies on Instagram with the quip, “@vancityreynolds made some Christmas cookies… 😳…,” Lively made light of the circumstance. He is pretty attractive, though.
