Is it really necessary to be a hero at a young age? A 7-year-old boy was recently recognized as a hero for saving the lives of his infant sister after a house fire in New Tazewell, Tennessee.
"I thought I couldn't do it, but then I said, 'I got her, dad,'" the boy says. "I was scared, but I didn't want my sister to die." https://t.co/4MCXvCHqDR

As per usual, Chris and his wife, Nicole Davidson, put their three children to bed on December 8 and were fast asleep by 8:30.
Nicole was awakened a few hours later by the scent of smoke, and she quickly understood that their home was on fire. The 22-month-old Erin Davidson was stranded in her room, which was the hardest part.
“The smoke and fire were raising high; there was no way I could get to her,” Chris Davidson reportedly stated, according to CNN.
When the circumstances cried out for a hero, Chris and Nicole’s 7-year-old son, Eli, volunteered to save his younger sister.
“We stepped outside to the window to reach her, but there was nowhere for me to stand to reach up there. Eli had already gone through the window, so I snatched him up. He was successful in removing her from her cot. Chris clarified the circumstances.
Eli saved Erin’s life by leaving the flaming house and holding her in his arms. When firefighters arrived, the home had already started to burn.
The courageous Eli remarked to CNN: “I felt I couldn’t do it, but then I said, ‘I got her, dad.'” I did not want my sister to pass away despite my anxiety.
According to reports, Chris and Nicole, both former firefighters, fostered 34 children throughout the years, including Eli, and adopted Erin and Elijah.
Chris said, “We almost lost all we’ve ever owned.
“That mansion included all we owned. The fire also harmed our three automobiles. It has severe effects. We currently feel empty.
You have never felt more powerless in your life than when you don’t even have your own underwear to wear.
Yes, but Eli also prevented a much greater catastrophe from occurring. I don’t know about you, but this 7-year-old kid deserves all the accolades the world has to offer.
Even though losing a house to a fire is a horrible tragedy, thinking about what may have happened if Eli hadn’t been there is inconceivable.
